CONCLUSIONS :- Clear mandate from members :- • Values accurately reflect aims of the ODPG. • Vision appears to be out of date and needs rewriting. • Website is gaining momentum, especially in recent times. • Yahoo homepage is neither utilised nor found to be useful. • Clear mandate to remain OANZ member but few visual outcomes. • Contribution to OANZ accepted but level may be too high. • Very strong mandate to continue website development. • ODPG needs help to attract interested farmers. • ODPG funded discussion groups :- the statistics do not quite tally with the comments. • Guest speakers yes but big surge against non-farming ‘experts’. • Noticeable trend for members wanting interaction with other groups. Disclaimer :- The Secretary of the ODPG has done a simple collation of the survey results. The conclusions above are easily arrived at and are not the result of personal opinion. Any further findings are to be discussed at Executive level. |
